What Is Ground Hog Day?
Ground hog day is the day where a ground hog decides if there will be 6 more weeks of bad weather or not. If he goes back into his hole, there will be bad weather but if he stays out then Spring has started. Ground hog day is on February 2nd. The first groundhog day was February 2nd, 1887 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.
